Jennifer Duder is a fine woodworker based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Her collection of sculptural heirloom vessels occupies the space between functional object and sculpture.

 Inspired by the belief that the objects we treasure deserve to be housed in something equally enduring and beautiful, each piece is meticulously handcrafted from New Zealand native timbers finished with a cast botanical finial, preserving a delicate fleeting form in enduring bronze.

 Through the interplay of timber, botanical forms, and cast bronze, each piece honours not only the material itself, but also the memories and stories it is intended to protect.

 Celebrating the quiet beauty of natural materials and the enduring value of craftsmanship, her practice reflects a deep appreciation for permanence, legacy, and the significance of the objects we choose to keep.
