Dunedin

Born in 1964, I graduated from the Otago school of Fine Art in 1990 with an honours degree in fine art sculpture. In 1991, I graduated from Christchurch Teachers College with a secondary teaching diploma.

I am currently H.O.D. Visual Art, John McGlashan College, Dunedin.

I have been a practising sculptor since 1991 and have exhibited throughout New Zealand, Australia and Asia. My work is held in both public and private collections.

My public sculpture commissions include the bronze statue of Sir Edmund Hillary for the Hermitage Hotel at Mt Cook, a life-sized bronze of Pelorus Jack at French Pass in the Marlborough Sounds, as well as several commissions in Dunedin, including the large bronze Cedar Cone for the Dunedin Botanic Garden, the Sea Lion “Mum” at St.Clair, a bronze sculpture for John McGlashan College and a Fantail for Glenfalloch Gardens. I've also produced two life-sized bronze figures for a private commission in Wanaka.
