Amelia Olley

Amelia has been working alongside her partner Josh Olley for over 2 decades.

 Originally adding the feminine touch to their carvings, she has continued to create pendants and smaller sculptures from stone and then venturing into bronze to collaborate with Josh’s large stone works.

 She specifically sculpts clay originals and creates the moulds for the (lost wax method) bronze casting. “I love the quiet, soft, pliable nature of clay, plaster and wax, it offers a striking contrast to the dusty hardness of stone”. It has become her favourite medium to begin her bronze work.

 Amelia is inspired by the intricacy and vitality of the natural world and the importance of our connection to this as she feels this gives great benefit to our overall wellness.
