The Nude And The Eye

06 - 30 November 26

Opening night:
Friday 6th November, 5-7pm

A suite of works exploring the beginning and the end of drawing.

Through line, I seek to capture the essence of the sitter. When disrupted or muddied by the vagaries of the process the line then draws to an end.

Now is the time for the sharp edge of paint.  Paint pushed and pulled, charcoal rubbed, broken and smeared, water spilt and nerves frayed.

The artist attempts to re-engage with the sitter who has since left the room.

The eye remains, the nude is tamed and a whole new story begins.
