Opening night:
Friday 7th February, 5pm – 7pm
This body of work is a personal exploration into placement and identity in current day Aotearoa.
It examines the natural elements of Aotearoa which I love and feel such a deep connection to, while acknowledging that they do not belong to me.
It serves as a thank you to our beautiful home for having us, and a reminder of why we need to preserve it for generations to come.
I combine both my European lineage and taonga to express ideas about identity, belonging and placement in current day Aotearoa.
