‘Portals’ 

‘Portals’ questions identity through the fog of new motherhood.

This collection explores mirror reflections, duality and simplicity.

The words are still forming, just as I am too. 

The birds (which are also me, and perhaps you too) mirror one another, or seem to at least.

But one is the before and one is the now.

They appear the same, yet are profoundly different.

One has passed through the portal of birth,

forever changed, unable to return.

On this side, everything is softer and sharper.

And somehow, it makes sense.
