Opening night:
Friday 4th July, 5pm – 7pm
Domestic Sensibilities reflects the artist's lived experience of home as both a physical and emotional space. Balancing the roles of working, caregiving, and creative practice, each painting engages with the tension and repetition of daily life. Through layered application, erasure, and intuitive mark-making, the work explores how domestic rhythms shape inner states. As Jacqueline Fahey wrote, "Art should come from what an artist knows about life," affirming the value of the everyday as a site of artistic inquiry.
